1. Scope
“1Pay Bókhald” is an internal integration that 1Pay uses with the e-conomic API for its own bookkeeping. It is not available to anyone outside 1Pay. This policy explains what data the integration handles.
2. What data we access
The integration accesses 1Pay’s own e-conomic agreement. This includes accounts, entries, journals, invoices, customers, suppliers, products, documents and similar bookkeeping data. This data may include personal data, such as names, contact details and payment-related information of 1Pay’s customers, suppliers and employees.
3. Why we use it
We use the data only to do 1Pay’s own bookkeeping: reading, checking, posting and organising accounting data. We do not use it for marketing, profiling or any purpose outside 1Pay’s own bookkeeping.
4. AI assistance
1Pay uses an AI assistant (Claude, provided by Anthropic) to help with bookkeeping work. The assistant processes the data only on 1Pay’s behalf and only while doing bookkeeping tasks. 1Pay does not use e-conomic data to train AI or machine-learning models.
5. Sharing
We do not sell data. We do not share data with third parties, except:
- e-conomic, where the data is stored.
- The AI provider above, as a processor, for the purpose in section 4.
- Our accountants and authorities, where the law requires it.
6. Storage and retention
The bookkeeping data stays in e-conomic. We do not keep a separate copy of it outside e-conomic, other than what is operationally needed while a task is running. Bookkeeping records are kept as long as Faroese bookkeeping law requires.
7. Security
Access uses e-conomic API tokens that are kept secret. Tokens are replaced if lost or exposed, and access can be withdrawn at any time in e-conomic. Only authorised people and systems at 1Pay can use the integration.
8. Your rights
Individuals whose data is in our books can ask us for access, correction or deletion, where the law allows. Contact us at 1pay@1pay.fo.
